Name changing into "Good City Foundation", remaining "Future City Summit" as the brand name of the annual summit, forming the venture capital arm of the group, "Rainmaker Ventures".

Development Program series Season II "Public Private Partnership by Youth" in Indonesia "Champion Indonesia", in Bali, Yogyakarta and Bandung respectively, with corresponding Mayor Office and Tourism Board.

DECEMBER

The 5th Anniversary and the 5th Annual Meet of Future City Summit was hosted in Hong Kong hybrid, sponsored by the InvestHK and Cyberport Hong Kong with the theme of "Global Post-Pandemic Recovery Agenda", co-hosted with the 4 local partners: Hong Kong Scholarship for Excellence Scheme Scholars Association(HKSESSA), Dream Impact(DI), Impact Circles (IC) and Global Solutions Foundation(GSF).

The 5th Annual Meet welcomed and received over 34,000 live traffic from 49 nationalities online-offline, with a series of thought-leadership dialogues with influential figures such as Stephen Phillips of InvestHK, Petrider Paul(Tanzania) of African Union Youth Advisory Council, Tita Larasati (Indonesia) of Indonesia Creative Cities Network, and Retnam Shanmuga of ASEAN Smart Cities Network, along with multiple side sessions.

As an overall achievement, a global-scale moonshot ecosystem composed of 22 countries with members in Southeast Asia, South Asia, Middle East and Africa pledged at the closing ceremony to collaborate with members of Emerging Future Cities Network formed in 2018 and international high-level communities such as ASEAN Smart Cities Network and G20 Global Smart Cities Alliance. A 10-year agenda objective was then set forth to impact 100 emerging cities of 500,000 population each through digital urban innovation, advanced public policy and governance entrepreneurship.

Good City Foundation is currently Institutional Partner of the G20 Global Smart Cities Alliance (GSCA) on Technology Governance, secretariat by the World Economic Forum for nominating promising and open city government for engaging to the Alliance for urban transformation.
